Westland is an entry to moderately-priced community, boasting the Westland Mall as the central hub of commerce. Along with a number of parks, it is home to the Mike Modano Ice Arena, and the H2O Zone splash park. There are also several historic sites here. The Perrinsville School was the first brick school house in the area, it was built in 1856. Nankin Mills was a grist mill that was built in 1842. It was later bought by Henry Ford and used as a stencil and pencil factory.  Featuring lots of options for shopping and dining, and close proximity to a number of hot destinations in southeast Michigan, there’s always something to do.
